My Review:

So I read this last Saturday and I think that my one word summarization I put up on GoodReads until my review date (today, woot) came up explains my feelings about this book about as well as any other words could, though you will be getting a lot more of them, ha.

"Oh Master Quinton these 2 Masters are giving you a run for your money straight to my heart"

Any of you that have seen my reviews on this series in the past know that I hold a very special place in my heart for Master Quinton so to say that these guys are ranking up there with him is saying a lot.

These two Masters stole my heart with their big soft hearts and desire to find love.

Now as if you couldn't tell from the cover Their's to Take is a ménage à trois story and I only tell you this because I don't want you going into something you may not be a fan of.  I am pretty certain you picked up on the fact already, but you know just in case.

Jonathan and Cruz have been basically inseparable since their days in the Navy.  Through the years these two have become more than just best friends.  They own a business together, they share a similar tastes in their love life, they share a love of each other, thought it has never been more than platonic, they have shared in romantic escapades and now they are considering sharing one woman for good.

Hartley, has had rough go of it lately. She's been making her way as best she can, keeping her father's and her dream alive since his passing.  She wouldn't say things have been tough but they haven't been easy and now that a storm (and another persons boat) have put her lively hood and dreams on the line she finds herself teetering on the edge of losing it all.  Thankfully for her business, he boat, and maybe even her heart as well as, ahem, other parts of her anatomy, which have been neglected for years, Jonathan Allen comes to the rescue and with him comes Cruz Ramos.  Hartley can't get these two off her mind and luckily for her it seems they can't stop thinking of her either but can she be what they need and is she willing to give it all to them.

Readers, this book is steamy with a capital S!  Laura Kaye has been bringing us some amazing Erotica with this series and she took it off the charts with Theirs to Take.  More importantly she gave us a beautiful story about finding love in places you never thought to hope for, in being true to yourself and exploring not only your options but your limits, and a book about standing by your friends even if sometimes it hurts your soul to do so.  It is a book about just wanting to find your own happiness and hoping that the ones you love can find theirs as well.

Theirs to Take is a quick steamy read that you won't want to put down, and I will say that until recently I had no idea it is also a cross-over so the good thing about that is you can totally read it and not be confused or lost at all and also, helllooooo new series to read!

If you like your romances with a whole lot of heart, a beautiful story about trust and friendship, and with a good dose of *waggles eyebrows* steam than this is a fantastic book for you.  You do not have to have even read the previous books in this series to read Theirs to Take.  You will meet a few of the previous books characters but nothing will be said that will either ruin those books for you or confuse you while reading this one.  Grab yourself a glass of something cold and pull out your electric fan before going in because you are going to need both! ;-)

~ HAPPY READING ~

**That good dose of steam I was talking about, you'll find some of it here, whew.****

From Laura Kaye:

I’m thrilled to be celebrating the release of my super hot and emotional Theirs to Take, the next erotic standalone romance in my Blasphemy series, about the twelve Masters who run and play at Baltimore’s most exclusive club. Theirs to Take is a sexy menage about what happens when two prior navy best friends and business partners meet a woman who makes them admit to desires they’ve never before voiced. I think you’re going to love Jonathan and Cruz! I know I adored writing them! Even more fun, there are characters and scenes in Theirs to Take that cross over with the amazing Jennifer Probst’s brand new Reveal Me – and the best part is that both are standalones so you can dive right in!

Now, read in for a taste of Theirs to Take…

Hartley woke up to the image of Jonathan’s handsome face mere inches from her own. She smiled, because in the peace of sleep, he appeared younger, and she could almost imagine him at eighteen, tanned with sun-streaked hair, racing into the waves, a board under his arm.

But she didn’t want the boy he’d been. She wanted the man he was now. She peered up over Cruz’s ridged stomach at his ruggedly handsome face and the tribal black ink running down his upper arms. Yeah, she wanted the men that both of them were. Sailors, veterans, builders, friends. Men so confident in their sexuality that they could share a woman with another man.

At least, she wanted to explore this thing between them. It wasn’t just that the sex had been amazing—which it had—it was that they’d made her feel so damn special. More than that, they’d made her feel a part of something bigger than herself. For the first time in so long.

And that feeling combined with being surrounded by all this sexy, hard flesh had arousal stirring in her blood again. It was like that dream she’d had, only better. Because this was real.

She shifted, and Jonathan’s eyes blinked open. One side of his mouth lifted in a little smile. “Hey,” he whispered.

“Hey,” she whispered back. Mentally, she debated, and then she decided to follow Scarlett’s advice once more. Just go for it. “Tell me…tell me to do something.”

He arched a brow, heat chasing the lazy sleepiness from his gaze. “You need us again.”

It wasn’t a question, which made his words about a million times hotter. He understood what she was asking him. “Yes,” she said.

“Then suck Cruz’s cock,” he whispered.

The command made her pussy clench with need. Wanting to wake Cruz up with her mouth, not movement, she shifted as gingerly as she could. And then she took his cock into her mouth and tongued and sucked him until he grew against her tongue.

“Eyes on me,” Jonathan said. She complied readily, hungrily. “That’s it. Make him hard.” His hand stroked the back of her hair, each stroke a little more firm than the last. As if to let her know that he could hold her down on that cock at any time.

Annnd that thought had her suddenly wet between her legs.

“Fuck,” Cruz rasped, stirring beneath her. His hand fell against her head, too.

A moan spilled from her. She loved the feeling of both of them guiding her mouth.

“She likes our hands in her hair, Cruz,” Jonathan said, eyes locked on hers. “Don’t you?” She nodded as much as she could with her mouth full.

Now Cruz was the one groaning, and Hartley couldn’t help but thrust her hips against the bed.

“God, I want to fuck her mouth, Jonathan.”

“Would you like that, Hartley?” A fist in her hair, he urged her head up. “Tell me.”

“Yes,” she said, wound incredibly tight from just a few moments of their dominance. “I would love that.”

“Then tell him. Tell Cruz to fuck your mouth.” Jonathan’s stare was dark fire.

Exclusive Excerpt:

I wasn’t a big drinker. Ever. And I had no idea how many bottles of alcohol Blake, and I had gone through. Or when he got so funny. Maybe it was the accent. It was a mixture of sort-of-kind-of-french and northern Minnesotan, which I guess was basically Canada. But when he spoke he rolled his Rs like a French man, and I couldn’t help but stare at his mouth. And I should have stopped staring or stopped talking after the first glass. Then he just kept filling mine up, and I kept staring, and there we were, me laughing and staring at his beautiful mouth. “You really had a Mohawk for Sochi trials?” I asked, almost spitting out my Soju that was a sugary vodka and supposed to be a very popular drink in Korea. Blake laughed and filled my cup again. “Yeah. I wanted to stand out. You Americans can’t have all the flair with your blue-haired swimmers.” I pointed at him and leaned on my elbow. “Hey! Those summer guys aren’t the same, and you know it!” He grabbed my hand, and a smirk crossed his face that brought out one small dimple on his cheek. I don’t know if it was the large amounts of alcohol we consumed or that dimpled smile, but all of my body felt flushed, and I was sure my face had to be redder than the Canadian flag. “It’s not nice to point, Miss Johnson. Even an American knows that.” I tried not to focus on how warm and rough his hands were on mine. His whole palm covered my fists, and I briefly wondered how big other things were before quickly shooting that thought out of my head, and pulling my hand away. I didn’t need to think about sex, no matter how long it had been. This was The Games. Not a time for romance or lust. “I wanna see a Mohawk picture. Come on; I know you’ve got one on your phone.” “Only if you show me one of yours pictures. I’m sure you have some from your early days of skating. The American costumes in the nineties weren’t exactly some of your proudest moments. Or at least that’s what your movies showed me.” He raised an eyebrow before taking a sip of his drink, which was more like a giant gulp. Gathering some courage, I poured the rest of the bottle in his glass. “I don’t even know what I have on my phone. Nothing exciting. No 1980s scrunchies or poofy sleeved leotards.” He laughed. “I’m sure you’ve got something. Now show me yours, and I’ll show you mine.”

*****

No. Just no. As a woman and a professional matchmaker, I can’t let Dylan Parker run this ad. He’s the catch of all catches. That’s why his sister has asked me to help her ridiculously good-looking, insanely rich, but socially clueless brother find a woman. As a broker of happily ever afters, I’m known as the Stud Finder since I make a great living pairing wildly successful women with men who won’t fleece them but will adore them. After all, what woman in her right mind wouldn’t fall in love with Dylan?

I mean, besides me. It totally won’t be me.

My Review:

Oh my goodness what a fun sweet read this is. I have fallen head over heels in love with this 'not a series' series by Lauren Blakely, Big Rock, Mister O, Full Package, Well Hung, The Sexy One, The Knocked Up Plan...they are all so much fun and once again with Stud Finder Lauren hit the mark. These are the kind of books that can pull you out of a book hangover, give you a smile on a bad day, make you swoon and laugh, give you so many awwww moments even when you want to smack a character upside the head (don't worry they'll come to their senses soon enough), these books just make you happy and I love that about them.

I loved these two characters, Dylan and Evie. Dylan is a socially awkward hunk with a bank account to rival his brains. Evie is a smart, self driven, compassionate, sexy woman and the two of them together are one heck of a team. I loved their chemistry and banter. Their chemistry is off the charts and when these to finally get over their fears and come together it is oh so SO swoon worthy.

It's honestly hard to say too much about this book because it is a novella and really I can't find much to say other than I LOVED STUD FINDER. Lauren Blakely always gives me a smile! Every book is fun, witty, sexy, and hopeful. I know that seems odd but her romances are all about finding the person who compliments you while never giving up who you. She reminds us that love should never cost us, love is a gift not a transaction.

If you are looking for a book that will take you away for a little while and bring you all the smiles and cheeky grins grab this book up, you will not be disappointed!

~ HAPPY READING ~

Excerpt:

I’ve known Dylan for the last year or so. He’s our first baseman, and a Scrabble teammate in a monthly competition hosted by some friends, not to mention the winner of the Punniest Costume from Olivia’s most recent Halloween party, put on by her friend Henley at the Battery Park penthouse she shares with her husband, Max. Sporting a blue shirt, Dylan had draped a phone cord around his neck and hung a rubber chicken from it for Chicken Cord on Blue.

How have I never noticed his ass before? Maybe I was looking at the chicken. Although, in all fairness, I think I checked out his behind on the field in Central Park when he whacked a grand slam earlier this summer.

I wave. “Hi, Dylan!”

He stops a foot away from me. “Hey, Evie, person who’s not holding a cell phone like everyone else in the city. How do you function?”

I laugh. “I know. I’m a throwback.”

“And it’s not even TT. Throwback Thursday,” he says, quickly explaining. “You’re old-school interacting with the RW.” He pauses, peering at me through his brown eyeglasses. “That’s real world.”

“I figured as much.”

He laughs awkwardly. “Sorry. I get caught up.” He steps closer and offers a hand to shake. He stops. Shakes his head. “Wait. That’s weird. We can hug, right?”

A smile crosses my lips. “We can definitely hug IRL.”

He laughs again, and this time it’s not awkward.

As he wraps his arms around me, he says, “I was debating a cheek kiss, but that seemed old-fashioned. Same as a kiss on the hand. By the way, did my sister tell you she thinks I’m socially clueless?”

I don’t answer him right away, because his arms are so sturdy, stronger than I’d expected, and I’d nearly forgotten how tall he was—I’m guessing six foot one. And he smells so good, like deodorant, which is actually quite a nice scent on a man since it means he’s showered, and he’s clean.

I’m a big fan of clean.

Too Beautiful to Break by Tessa Bailey - Review

Author: Tessa Bailey
Publication Date:  26 September 2017
Publisher: Forever Romance
Series:  Romancing the Clarkson's, book 4
Genre:  Contemporary Romance
Age Recommendation: 18 and Up
Rating: 4 Stars
~ I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review ~

Book Description:

A love of a lifetime . . .

Leaving Belmont Clarkson is the hardest thing Sage Alexander has ever done. From the moment they met, she knew Belmont was the one, and getting up close and personal with him on his family's epic road trip has taken her desire to a new, even hotter level. But there's no way she can go there---not without revealing secrets that could devastate them both.

Losing Sage is not an option. Belmont's heart is hers, has alwaysbeen hers. He knows she's hiding something from him, but nothing will stand in his way of telling her just how much she means to him. Finding her is easy---saving her from her past could cost him everything.

My Review:

If you are a Tessa Bailey fan this is the book you have been waiting for.  This is the book that is the soul of the entire Romancing the Clarkson's series and for a fan of this series the makes this book their soul so you can imagine how exciting this day is for all the Bailey's Babes, the readers that have been swooning, fawning, and biting their nails over our beloved Belmont and Sage.  I can almost guarantee that by the end of the day today there will be a collective sigh heard round the world as readers close the back cover and clutch this book to their chest both pleased at the end to the series and sad that it has all come to an end.

The one thing you need to know about this book is it is utterly sigh worthy.  As always with a Tessa Bailey book all the swoon and romance is there, but there is also a softness to this story, a deep sadness that is both heart breaking and beautiful.  Too Beautiful to Break is a book about fears, about discovering them, concurring them, accepting them, and letting them go.

If you have read the previous books in this series you know how difficult Belmont's back story was going to be.  He's a broken man, broken in such a way that the only ease he finds from his hurt and fears is either on the water or in the presence of Sage Alexander.  There is a peace that he brings to her that he can't find anywhere else and he has needed her badly during his and his siblings cross country adventure, a trip that has taken him away from the contentment his work and the water give him and put him through an emotional hurricane.  Once Sage arrives he can finally breathe but then everything changes when she leaves him standing at train station lost and confused.  That moment with Belmont, it broke my heart as much as it broke his.  Imagining him completely lost with out his anchor pulled me right into his hurricane of emotions and had me clutching my heart over his pain.

Sage has to leave Belmont behind, she has to get home, home to a life she tried to run from but was always tethered to, one she knew she would always have to return to.  She has to run from Belmont because he offers her too much safety.  He offers her a way to lose herself in his arms and in his love, but it's an unhealthy dependency that she fears finding herself in with him, the same type of dependency she lived through with her parents, parents she loves but can not let herself become like.

I love this story, I loved the heartache, I loved the back story, I loved the romance, I LOVED Belmont, I loved almost everything...the one thing that keeps me from giving Too Beautiful to Break a 5 star rating is that I didn't love Sage as much as I wanted to.  You know how sometimes you wait so long for a book, there is so much build up, that the book can ultimately disappoint you because it just isn't everything you craved and hoped for, a little of this happened here but it was only with one character, everything else hit the mark.  For me Sage was just a little too wishy-washy.  Of all the characters to give everything to and then rip it all away Belmont is the last one it should ever be done to.  I struggled a little to see her side of things for some reason this idea that she could allow herself to be so totally immersed in another person, that she's strong enough to walk away from him, that she is strong enough to fight a battle for her family, but she isn't strong enough to set up a life with Belmont that supports them both with out losing one another seemed strange to me.  It may just be that due to my own independence I can't understand where she is coming from but it hurt to see the way she pulls and pushes Belmont through life.  But honestly this challenge for me is just a drop in the bucket of a beautiful story, one that deserves to be read and loved.

I highly suggest reading this series from start to finish particularly when it comes to reading Too Beautiful to Break, you need to know Belmont before going into this story, you need to see how he loves his family, how he depends on them, but how he fights for them and fights to give them their happiness.  You need to see his quiet and heart breaking interactions with Sage so you can feel the true force of his book.  You need to see that he is the soul, the pillar of this family and that of everyone his happiness is what this whole series has ultimately been leading up to.  That this sad little boy, this broken man gets the chance to find happiness, safety, and love.

Tessa Bailey is originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans and laptop, driving cross-country to New York City in under four days.

Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the work force as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.

She now lives in Long Island, New York with her husband of ten years and six-year-old daughter. Although she is severely sleep-deprived, she is incredibly happy to be living her dream of writing about people falling in love.

Genre: Contemporary Romance, Standalone
Release Date: Feb. 27, 2018

Book Description:

Following the popular series debut—NUDES was praised as “passionate, emotional and uplifting” by #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Lauren Blakely—contemporary romance author Sarah Robinson weaves a new standalone story where a second chance at romance is found on a Hollywood film set and secrets always have a way of being…exposed.   Reed Scott is the hottest actor in LA…

Being a Hollywood heartthrob has its perks, and I’ve damn sure enjoyed every one of them, both on and off the silver screen. The tabloids loved every second of exploiting my privacy, chronicling my mistakes in ink for the whole world to see. Accepting the lead role in a romantic dance film was guaranteed to make me a box office hit and help me rewrite my image, until the choreographer hired to train me turned out to be the only woman I’d ever loved and lost.   As beautiful and enticing as ever, Tegan walks in and reminds me of the worst mistake I’ve ever made. She should hate me, and now she has the power to destroy everything I am.

Tegan Reynolds is picking up the pieces…

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…never going to happen. I fell in love with Reed Scott once and it nearly killed me—literally. The last thing I want to do now is teach him how to dance, but I need this job and there’s no way I’m letting him take yet another thing away from me.   Reed is in my world now, and this time we’re dancing by my rules.

After a few tabloid headlines, they think they know me. They don't know a damn thing. As CEO of a movie production company, I'll show them who I really am when we hit it big at the box office. My ex thought her smear tactics would ruin me, but I'm unbreakable. Rising from the debris, I swore I'd never let a woman distract me like that again. But then, my leading actress walked on the set and changed everything. Seductive, sexy, and unapologetic, Aria Rose could break me. I wanted to help her, protect her...love her. Instead, I destroyed her.

Aria Rose is baring it all....

I knew better. I knew not to trust another Hollywood heartthrob with a reputation like his. He was my boss and became my ruin. I should have stayed far away from him. Ben Lawson promised me the world. He even promised me his heart. But he destroyed everything--my heart, my career, us.

Bountiful by Sarina Bowen - Cover Reveal

I am so excited to help share the cover for the 4th boon in Sarina Bowen's True North series.

True North releases 20 October!

Book Description:

No last names. No life stories. Those were the rules.

Once upon a time a cocky, copper-haired tourist sauntered into Zara’s bar. And even though she knew better, Zara indulged in a cure for the small-town blues. It was supposed to be an uncomplicated fling—a few sizzling weeks before he went back to his life, and she moved on.

Until an accidental pregnancy changed her life.

Two years later, she’s made peace with the notion that Dave No-Last-Name will never be found. Until one summer day when he walks into her coffee shop, leveling her with the same hot smile that always renders her defenseless.

Dave Beringer has never forgotten the intense month he spent with prickly Zara. Their nights together were the first true intimacy he’d ever experienced. But the discovery of his child is the shock of a lifetime, and his ugly past puts relationships and family out of reach.

Or does it? Vermont’s countryside has a way of nurturing even tortured souls. The fields and the orchards—and hard won love—are Bountiful.
