SUPER FLY!: Able to stop tornadoes from destroying towns with just one breath.
Strong enough to push a ship away from a looming iceberg.
He's even read every book in the library twice. Yes, twice!

Can this four-eyed little bugger, along with his trusty sidekick Fantastic Flea, take on Crazy Cockroach and his army of insect baddies? It's housefly vs. cockroach in this epic battle of good vs. evil. Who will come out on top? Stay tuned!

My Review:

In this silly little tale we meet Eugene Flystein a little nobody of a fly who turns out to be a somebody.  After his family moves to a new town he is thrust into a school that is ruled by one Cornelius Cockroach, a big, mean, nasty bully of a bug who has his eyes set on Eugene.

This is a silly fun book with a bit of a deep message if you can find it under all the bathroom humor, haha. This easy read is all about learning to stand up for what is right and not letting yourself or your friends get bullied and pushed around.

This is a good read for the younger of our Middle Grade readers, I think it will appeal most to First through Third graders,  Children that are still have the ability to find the word 'poop' beyond hysterical.  The sentence structure is very simple and easy to read making it great for new readers and the length is perfect so that they don't find themselves bored.  The ending also leaves things wide open for a book 2, which if you r children are like mine is super exciting because they love getting to follow a series.

I loved the illustrations in this book, they are simple with clean lines and just plan fun to look at.  This is an enjoyable book that will keep your readers interested and wanting to come back for more.  I know I want to come back so I can discover more about Elle, Eugene AKA SuperFly's sister...There is a big story there and I adore how she stands up for her older brother, she's a brave little fly!

If your young reader likes Captain Underpants or Stink I think think this is a book that will catch their interest.
