Book Description:

New York Times bestselling author Meghan March continues the story of ruthless, calculating billionaire Jericho Forge in Luck of the Devil.

My poker face has always been one of my greatest assets, along with my grit and determination. I was beholden to no one. Asked permission for nothing.

Then Jericho Forge took my life by storm.

I traded my freedom for something infinitely more precious, but I didn’t realize he was holding an unbeatable hand.

Now, all I have to do is survive the high-stakes game that is my life—with my heart intact.

But not falling in love with Forge? That will take the luck of the devil.

Luck of the Devil is the second book of the Forge Trilogy, and should be read following Deal with the Devil. The Forge Trilogy concludes in Heart of the Devil.

My Review:

There is just something about a Meghan March read that I have come to love and hate, lol.  I always get completely lost in her stories, her characters are so vibrant and consuming, her world building while unrealistic for the average joe/jane, comes across as completely believable and makes you feel as though you are part of the action.  What is my hate part of the relationship?  The cliff-hanger.  The one thing that I know without a doubt will be there, unless it is the final book, her trade-mark endings.  I love everything except the one thing I always know to expect!

As is the case with a lot of Meghan's series in progress books I can't talk about too much because there are so many little things that happen that change and advance the story that would be considered spoilers.  What I can say is that if you haven't already fallen in love with this couple you will soon.  We're getting into the part of the story where the true character of Jehrico and India is being revealed. Jericho isn't just some jerk billionaire, he has a past and fears that haunt him. India isn't just a fearful girl rushing from one thing to another just trying to survive.  In fact we really start to see just how strong of a heroine she is.  We've always known she will do what it takes but now we see that she can truly give as good as she gets.

This is a treat series to get lost in.  Buy the books as they come out but if you don't like cliff hangers, hold on to them until you get all of them.  You totally won't regret these books, they are so full of action, twists and turns, and S.T.E.A.M.Y romance you can't help but love them, but yah...those cliff-hangers, hahaha!

Book Description:

From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a brand new saga of forbidden love and second chances.

A Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after. Our family feud is the stuff of legends. Ten years ago, Whitney Gable caught me off guard with her long legs and grab-you-by-the-balls blue eyes. I didn’t know or care what her name was. Like any Riscoff worth the family name, I went after what I wanted. We burned like a flash fire until she married another man. She hates me, and she should. I objected on her wedding day. Now she’s home, with those same long legs and man-eater stare, but there’s no ring on her finger. They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after . . . but I’m not done with Whitney Gable. I’ll never be done with her.

My Review:

So honestly my whole review should just consist fo "Huh, I DID NOT see that coming!" since that's exactly how I felt when I got to the last page and it's about all I can actually tell you because in Meghan March style this is a total jaw-dropping cliffhanger!

I honestly don't know how to feel right now, I mean did that person do something they were't supposed to? Is that other person just plain jumping the gun?  What if that 'bad' person isn't really so bad after all...could that even be possible?  What the heck is going on?  What I do know is that I really enjoyed these characters.  I loved Riscoff's love for Whitney, that he is never in doubt that even after all this time she's still the one.  I loved Whitney's desire to just be happy, especially just to be happy in the life she is given.  I adored Whitney's best friend and cousin Cricket, she's a wild one, lol.  I hated her other cousin, I mean what is up with that?  I am sure there's a story for her behavior and we'll get it eventually.  And the Grandpas!  They were my favorite.

This is a steamy read that vacillates between he present and the past and is written in dual POV.  It's a quick read with a lot of heart and heat.  You will totally be sucked in and wanting more right away.  This is one of those series that I want everyone to read right now but at the same time I want to tell you to wait till all the books come out so you don't have to be like me...hanging off the cliff by one pinky finger!  I NEED TO KNOW!

~ HAPPY READING ~

  EXCERPT:

Did it make you a bad friend if you were completely, a hundred percent envious of that friend? Yes? No? Kind of? I figured it was somewhere in between. That’s what I was mulling over as I watched Ivy Morgan brush thick, red curls over her shoulder, laughing at something her boyfriend Ren Owens had said to her. At least I wasn’t envious of that—their love. Okay, well, that wasn’t entirely true. Pretty sure anyone who was as single as me would be envious of all that warm and fuzzy that was passed back and forth with each long look or casual brush of skin. The two could barely tear their gazes away from one another to eat the dinner we’d grabbed at the cute little diner inside the shopping center on Prytania Street. I honest to God couldn’t be happier for them. They’d been through so much—way more than two people should ever have to go through to be together, and here they were, stronger and more in love than ever, and they deserved that happiness. But their epic love story wasn’t the source of a current case of the green-eye monster that was sitting on my shoulder. Ivy was just such a… badass. Even right now, relaxed in the chair, surrounded by twinkling Christmas lights with her hand in Ren’s and her belly full of a cheeseburger deluxe and crinkle fries and half of my tater tots, she could kick ass and take names along with addresses, telephone numbers, and social security numbers. If the proverbial poo hit the fan, you called Ivy or Ren. If you needed to know what streets Royal intersected with, you called… me. Or if you needed coffee or fresh beignets but were currently busy, you know, saving the world, you’d call me. The three of us were all members of the Order, a widespread organization that was literally the only thing that stood between mankind and complete, utter enslavement and destruction by the fae. And not the super cute fae found in Disney movies or some crap like that. Humans thought they were on top of the food chain. They were wrong. The fae were. The only thing pop culture got right about the fae was their slightly pointy ears. That was it. The fae were more than just beings from another world—the Otherworld—they were capable of glamouring their appearance to blend in with humans. But all Order members, even me, were warded at birth against the glamour. We saw through the human façade to the creature that lurked beneath.

Book Description:

A sexy new contemporary romance duet from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…

I have the perfect life. Until the day my husband tragically dies. Being a single mom and widow was never part of the plan. When David Calloway enters my life, I have no room for love in my heart. But he’s determined to do right by me. Could he be the Wright love?

The Wright Love is the first book in the Wright Love Duet, and Sutton and David's story will conclude in The Wright One—coming May 29th! Get ready for your newest binge read.

My Review:

What does one say about the book you've been waiting for for an entire series...well, at least since that one thing that shocked you and destroyed you all at the same time (you remember that thing?) happened?  What does one say when the book is so good but it's not anywhere close to done and ends on a crazy cliffhanger that you really didn't see coming from a mile away?  What does one say when you have totally fallen in love with the characters but one of them has done something they shouldn't and the other one lost their ability to listen and understand?  What does one say when you're just waiting on pins and needles for the next book because you know exactly how this is all supposed to end but right now you can't see past the OMG to figure out how K.A. Linde will do it?

Well of course one says:
 GO GET THIS BOOK!

Obviously if you have been reading this series up till now this is a must have that you don't want to wait for...well, maybe you do because you don't want to be left hanging like me, haha.  If you aren't a fan of cliffhangers make sure you read the two books in this duet back to back.  The Wright One will be out in just a few weeks so you don't have long to wait.  If you don't mind giant cliffhangers then get on this, you will not regret having read it now.

It is so wonderful seeing the way Sutton is navigating her way through widowhood, how she is with her adorable little man.  I appreciate watching her as she lets her grief play out the way she needs it to, I respect her so much for not listening (wells except tat one time, sigh) to what others think about how she should grieve and she is taking the time that she needs regardless of anyone else.  I love her spirit and her desire to continue to truly live life, her life.  I can't imagine the pain of going through what she has and at the young age that she has but I applaud her and of course K.A. for the way in which she has handled this difficult time.  It is even more challenging as I know so many wonderful people who have recently lost loved ones and it makes me really consider my words and reactions to their pain and grief.

I adore David, though I have known since he first showed on the pages that I would.  I love how he allows Sutton what she needs with out pressure or opinion.  I adore how he is with her son and how he has become such a part of the Wright family so easily.  I love how he's a quite non-cocky kinda alpha male.  I am hurting for him now as everything plays out and curious to see how it all ends.  I know it is easy for me, the reader, to say how I think everyone should react to some news that comes about since I am sitting on the outside looking in, but I wish for a moment everyone would take a breath and really listen and think.

There is a lot that goes on in this book, most of it absolutely heart achingly beautiful, some of it jaw dropping but in the end a while lot of goodness and I just can't wait for book two.  So as I said before

GO GET THIS BOOK

and get ready to fall in love with the Wright family all over again!  I hate to think this is the end but what a beautiful way to go out!

~ HAPPY READING ~
