My Review:
I so enjoy this series from Lauren Blakely. This whole series will give you an uplifting feeling, a heartfelt glowing warmth, and all the steamy moments you could possibly want in a Contemporary Romance.
Wyatt and Natalie's story is the same fun that you have come to expect but with a twist you may not. I fell in love with this couple straight at the start and I bit my nails for them when I worried over their relationship bumps, I swooned when the sweet moments occurred, I rolled my eyes at Wyatt's cockiness (yes, pun intended), I cheered when Natalie stood her ground, I fanned myself in those steamy moments of which there are quite a few as you would want, and I rejoiced in triumph in moments where they came together and beat the odds at every turn.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas right? That was the plan when a spur of the moment night of thrills and adventure comes to pass for Wyatt and Natalie. Natalie's desire to have just one night of debauchery and fun and with her off-limits boss becomes a possibility she and Wyatt take full advantage but the one thing that should have stayed in Vegas doesn't and now they find themselves in a bind that they can't figure out how to get out of in one piece or even if they truly want to.
The banter and tension between these two is hilarious and exciting. They will keep you glued to the pages as they work together and against each other. You'll want to shake them both a time or two, wanting Natalie to give up her secrets and Wyatt to stop being so blind, but most of all you will just be rooting for everything to work out, for them to find happiness. The story isn't going to go quite the way you expect and I will tell you that stressed me out because I feared that somehow this would be the HEA I wanted, but while you will get a surprise at the way things go don't worry that this book is going to leave you with out the ending you crave in a romantic comedy.
I love that this series is from the male POV, there is something about that which makes a romance novel more enjoyable for me. I suppose it's this idea that I am getting a look into a secret world. This is a must read for for any fan of Contemporary Romance or Romantic Comedy. Lauren Blakely is a one-click author so go forth and.....
